I love when I work at Starbucks every year on Easter (which for those of you in the know is the holiest day on the Catholic calendar). it never fails we get a ton of people that come to the drive through and act shocked as hell that we're there:

"Oh man, I can't believe you guys are open!"

"Wow! They made you work today?"

"Jeez, I thought for sure you'd be closed"

Well, assholes, why did you come in then? Friggin' addicts.

Santo Denied Hall of Fame Again

Today I heard some Protestant radio evangelist quoting St. Augustine on the radio using an excerpt from "City of God" to show what the Church wasn't supposed to be.

I'm pretty damn sure everyone is going to remember what Augustine did. I don't even remember this radio guy's name.

It took me nearly my entire car ride to simmer down from the guy... on ASH WEDNESDAY nonetheless.

Which reminds me that today is the anniversary of someone wiping the ashes off my forehead at Greenville College.

Boy, was that a sign from God or what? Too bad I ignored it.

The Maple Leafs are some classy people. Jim Vandermeer is a damn good defenseman. Nothing says class like an organization calling a player someone "who can barely play in the league" and "will probably be in the minors soon."

I guess thats what happens when a team from the minors WHIPS YOUR ASS.
